Title: Paint Colour Code Help

can someone please confirm the name of the colour code - LY3D?

Reason being is im planning on buying a bootlid off ebay and want to make sure it is the same red as Ive got.  Mines a 1990 MK2 GTI.  Im a little confused as going by things ive read, it should be tornado red, but comparing it to a halfords spray can of Tornado Red, my car is alot more red, the halfords can colour was more brown/burgundy, mine is alot closer to the halfords Mars red.

A confirmation of my colours name would be excellent so I can atleast get it fairly close  :laugh:

Ive included a photo of my little sticker thing to make sure im actually reading the right code  :grin:
