Title: CHANGING A MK2 DASH TO A MK4 DASH

HELLO PEOPLE NEED SOME HELP IM JUST ABOUT TO PUT A MK4 TURBO IN MY MK2 AND NEED TO PUT MY DASH IN TO IT AS WELL BUT DONT REALLY KNOW HOW TO DO IT JUST NEED SOME ADVISE ON HOW TO DO IT THANKS

It's not quite the same, but check out Dizzie's Mk2 Edition One project thread (http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=36833.0 (http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=36833.0)), he's put a 1.8T engine in and swapped the dash, albeit to a Mk3 one, but it'll give you an idea of what's involved.
From reading that, I guess the Mk3 dash needed cutting a bit to fit, I'd guess that the Mk4 dash will be bigger still, so will need more cutting to make it fit.

PEOPLE PEOPLE NEED SOME HELP MY GEARBOX MOUNT WILL NOT FIT WAS TOLD I HAVE TO USE A G60 RALLYE BRACKET I JUST CANT GET MY ONE TO FIT ALL SO I NEED A ECU BUT ANT GOT MUCH MONEY WHAT WOULD YOU RECOMEND THANKS SMELL YOU LATER

Just a bit more info on the subject i need some help with my gear box that im useing is an o2j its my own one out of my mk4 and so is the engine
