Post by: DubDave on 09 July 2007, 14:00

Love the mk2 golf gti.
Due to be getting one next month.
Wanted to know from you guys though will i be able to achieve my goal of 180 brake.

My plan is to port and polish, get 4-2-1 manifold, full exhaust system, induction kit.

Anything else i need?

Please help me reach my goal haha :)

dump the induction kit. Just get a panel filter.

get a set of cams, and then a proper rolling road set up. 180 is easy out of a valver. Do a search of this section.

I think your best bet to get near that power would be a 2.0 bottom end
