Title: worth waiting for 57 plate ???

just wondering if its worth hanging on for the new plates to come out, will it be the same car or are vw going to make any changes that anyone knows of.????

also once the 57s are out what sort of price will the 07plates be selling for, even though theyre still brand new im assuming the dealers will be discounting them to make room for new stock???

any thoughts?

depends what gti, there isnt many e30s about which are waiting, most are ordered to spec.
i get mine on thursday, 07. i had it ordered so it comes in when it comes in. if u want a e30 ur prob order it too meaning ur have to wait 3months, normal gti's may be avalible now so u would get an 07, i dont c the point in waiting just for a diff number . the car is the same..

was just after a normal gti/dsg but was unsure what the 57 car was like, whether they were changing it in any way. if its the same then yeah, its pointless waiting.......

nah, its just registration, all models made now are the 08 model so iv heard. as people reciving now have the 08 model. mines coming thursday after a almost 3 month wait.

id just go get one now!!

what you been waiting three months for, is that the waiting time on a standard car or is that when its ordered to your spec?

Model year 2008 cars start arriving around the start of June 2007 area so the cars will be the same spec now as 57 reg cars.
There are alot of low miles and delivery mile GTI and ED30s about at dealers but they are all asking stupid prices.

i ordered my e30 from my spec, so has to wait 12 weeks or so for it.
