Title: P slot alloys

hi people im picking up a golf monday that has a set of p slot alloys how can i tell if they are originals or replicas, i know its something to do with the gap between the slots but cant remember which is original and which isnt
your help would be appreciated

It's not a case of replica or original wheels, the mk1 came with the smaller spacing (8mm?) between the slots and i think the "Pirelli" badged centre caps, where as the mk2 has 10mm spacing (i think, it's larger than the mk1 anyway) and just plain centre caps.
