ive gotta take car apart and wanna make sure ive got the parts that will fit??

Joe, whats the difference, stiffer rubber? uprated bearing? etc.  I am going to do a suspension renew in about a month.  Are the febi ones from VWspares OK?

yeah i got mine from vwspares... muchos cheapness! they're just a heavy duty mount. apparently you can use mk4 top mounts for a 'comfort' upgrade. not tried it on anyones car yet though.

i was going to get the g60 top mounts for my '86 8v, and they didn't fit  :huh: so i had to settle for the 8v ones.

Fitted my '91 Driver no problems, and that's combined with lowering caps. Mind you they aren't G60, they're Toledo GT - same part number though :wink:

G60 ones fitted ok on my 88 GTI when we put on my Weitec Coilovers :)

joe stuck some g60 topmounts on mine when the coilovers went on! just look like standard but much beefier! :smiley:

they went on today with no prob, well once i got the strut removing tool, so much easier with that

it was a 3 piece kit from motor factors, cost just over ten quid, its for the slotted nut once u remove the suspension.
