Title: mk2 alternator bearings

can i get them replaced or is it a new/recon alternator?

I replaced the bearings in mine. If you take the bearings to a local supplier, they should be able to supply you replacements.

The one's I were supplied with were manufactured by SKF and the part numbers were:-

6201-2RS1 (189W) smaller bearing
6303-2RS1 (186W) larger bearing
