Title: GTI parts into a 1.9tdi

Will a gti steering wheel, front black xenon lights and/or dash cluster be a straight swap to go in a 1.9 tdi

P.S. and the climate control buttons are different on my basic model but will the gti ones fit?

Cosmetically there should be no reason why the lights should not fit, as they are all the same dimension shell for fittings such as lights, bumpers etc. So yes on that front. If it is just swapping part for part then everything should swap over, however, some models have various parts on the looms that others will not have, so swapping some things over could mean that even though they will fit, there will not be the right connection for them.

Sadly you can't fit xenon headlamps to any Mk5, as to be road legal and pass an MOT you need factory fitted headlamp washers and a sensor on the rear axle.  :nerd:

ok well just bought a nicer gti recaro interior with the red tartan almost look and may get some more bits of the guy when i go to pick it up.

Have not even picked the car up yet!
