hi
Ive seen the golf mk 5 at main dealers for approx 20500, however I have also stumbled across sites such as simpledeal, motorprovider etc which sell them for 17500.
obviously this is a significant saving but is it the same car, spec engine etc ? are there any catches or are these sites legit??
has anyone used them or have any tips, advice on how to proceed...
many thanks, pug

This topic has been done to death mate. The cheaper cars are Imports, usually from mainland europe to full UK spec ( although some aren't ) . I got my car from Simpledeal £18300 for a 3 door , 18" Monzas, metallic paint, armrest cd chager and cruise. My car is full UK spec and was imported from Holland. The thing to note is you only get 2 years warranty with imports, and obviously , you may get slightly less come trade in time if it's within 3 years.
