Title: i want to de-coke me engine - which pipe do i put into water??

not sure what pipe i need to put into water to do this trick? on a 1.8 dx lump! cheers, rob

well i read i here a while back that if you disconect one of the vac pipes and suck up a pint of water it will clear all carbon de-posit's from the engine (like a internal steam clean!) just fancied giving it a go!  :undecided:  :smiley:

i can verify that it works... reduced my pinking issue no end  :smiley:

might give it another go sometime.

i think the trick is to use a small diameter vac pipe that goes straight into the head? i have the PB engine and used the pipe which goes from the airbox to the head.
