Title: Tyre Streching, whats the deal?

as above what is the deal with this? i mean does anyone do it? whats the point in rolling arches if you can do this? cheers

its just a look thing. not all tyre fitters will do it for safety reasons :smiley:

again depends on the testing station. Should be ok if it's not too extreme? Also your car may fail if the wheel sticks out further than the arch :smiley:

Im really liking  the look of streched tyres, is it a new thing cos ive never noticed it before neither  have I noticed it on any other cars...
 do you think it only looks right on certain types of wheels or drop? could you get away with it on say 15`s and stock height or would it look crap?
