Title: 16v rattle

What you guys think? Recently my 16v has a started making a rattling sound.
First its there when you start up for second... And it does it under load about 3K rpm but then dissapears. It doesnt sound like exhaust or heat shield though.... I know its hard to know what it is without hearing for yourselfs but wandered if anyone else has experianced anything similar.

Defo sounds like exhaust or heat shield, mine did it at about 3k until i found the loose heat shield !!  :grin: :grin:

on start up? sounds like noisey tappets to me. a common valver thing :smiley:

Ummm took it to work today and it starts rattling around 3k but actually gets louder after that, didnt wanna take it to high.... Think it could be the bottom end.  :cry:
