Title: Control of the VW 6CD Changer via Aftermarket head unit?

Dear All,

I fancy changing the RCD300 stereo in my GTi MKV to an aftermarket unit BUT would like to be able to control the VW 6CD Changer (made by Sony for VW) in the armrest with an aftermarket headunit - does anyone know if this is possible?

I've been looking at buying the Sony MEX-BT5000 headunit, but am not sure how this could be done (as the connectors are different I'm sure). Are there any other non-OEM headunits which could do this?
