Title: Relocating front indicators
Post by: lowgolf on 15 February 2004, 20:12
Was at a VW cruise last week and saw a lad with sidelights in his indicators on the big bumper, look sweet at nite. Then had the indicators in his main lamps. It looked good but i cant see it being anywhere near legal! Does anyone know, or know what the legal minimum size of front indicators is? Was thinking of doing it myslef.

i want to know this too as i want to smoothe over the indicators in big bumper. iv seen the indicators a few times in headlights but its pretty crammed in the headlights as it is. probably easier if youve got rallye lights

I am also thinking of smothing the front indicators off my big bumper and relocating them to my fogs 8)

just gonna wait a few months then get it all sprayed and smothed :)

The lad probably connected up the indicator wires to the side light bulbs in the headlamps?

Cheers blue but i dont reckon it would as good. I think im either get a spare set of lamps and drill em or put the bulbs behind my grill.
