Hey guys, opened the boot of my gti sportline today after a week of heavy rain and the boot is absolutly soaking and i mean really soaked throughout. Anyoneany ideas whats caused this and how i can sort it?

Try and isolate it first, so are the footwells wet ? If not then look around the boot for any signs of where it could have dripped in. My first thought are the back lights, so check the seals on them first.

yeah, gibby is probably right! (he ususally is!)
i was told that sometimes the roof can leak at the hood clips and this can cause water to drip into the boot (altho with the amount of rain we've had it's def more than a drip!)
Good luck fixing it!

rear window frame rubber, rear boot rubber, rear lights....

ive having the same problem at the minute, changed the rear light seals for brand new ones but still have problems with LOTS of water, will change the rear boot seal later on tomorrow and report back...
can water drip into the rear of the car from the sunroof draining channels?
