why is my mums tdi 150, badged as a gti? thought they were gttdi
(YES i have used the search)

because you could get GT TDI's AND GTI TDI's which had GTI suspension etc etc :nerd:

i thought the TDI 150's which had the 1.8T were still GT TDI's?
or were there 2 types of TDI 150 ?

just done a bit of research and they are the same car so i stand corrected! the 150 TDI has the same suspension setup as the 1.8T

you could make it 4wd have the tdi 150 in the front, rip the back seats out and fit the 1.8T!!
(i just wanna rip my back seats out now i've seen the w12 :grin:)

If you check with Volkswagen UK, the only TDi that was "supposed" to be badged as GTi was the Anni

ours and my mates are both badged as GTI in my opinion the only diesel that deserves the badge(going to get pelters for that one :smiley:)

mums is all silver. and he mates has a red i.
it's a genuine 150bhp.

not really as the 130 was only ever badged as a TDI and sold as a GT TDI (initially). then i think you could get the 130 engine in SE form :undecided:
