Title: Looking for a new car.

Hi everyone as it says i'm looking for a new car just sold my car and looking to get back into a vw.I sold my last mk2 golf gti 16v to my brother and he never lets me forget it every time i see him he's have a look at my vdo gauges and so on  :'(.
So i'm hoping to get a vr6 or a mk3 gti 16v and was hoping to get some details of mpg and speed on both these cars.I'm looking to spend a round the 4grand mark.I'm from the northeast and was wondering is there still a meet every last sunday down the coast (whitley bay i think) well thanks in advance and hope to chat with you lot abit more soon  ;D
