Title: Candy Wax for Fathers Day
Post by: Pabs32 on 17 June 2007, 22:28
Got up this morning, the kids had bought me a pot of wax and some tyre shine for Fathers day.

Actually, it was a bit beyond their 50p pocket money so I bought it and they wrapped it up.

Started with Zymol Auto Wash (473ml) £10.00
Meguiars Lambs Wool Wash Mitt 1 £9.99
Meguiars Water Magnet Drying Towel 1 £11.99
P21S Gloss Enhancing Paintwork Cleanser £9.95
P21S Concours Look Carnauba Wax  £19.95
Meguiars Hot Shine Tyre Spray
Zymol Microfibre towels

3 hours later and a couple of beers.

Weather was great for waxing, but not very good for the photos, here are some snaps...

That car should be black - you've gone and polished all the good paint off it

Looks good mate, well worth the effort.

Snap, but got some Zymol cleaner wax, now know this is the cheap stuff (£13 bottle) but hey on the grey it works a treat. I have tried almost everything upto £40 and I am impressed with this stuff, may not work for all colour though.

Followed the instructions to the letter, panel at a time and then spray with a water sprayer and rub with a micro fibre after cleaning the polish off and it has come up a treat. Bit of tyre foam, AG wheel seal, tyre and bumper treatment (£1.97 Tesco  cheap skate, but good stuff) and the finish is great.

Must get some photo's up
