Title: Removing Front wing Mk2

whats the best way to remove the underseal that holds the wing to the car. have had a go before but failed. is there three bolts in the underdeal too? cheers, Phil

Hi,

I removed mine from my Mk2 90 spec and it was OK. There are two bolts under the underseal.
I used a longish lever bar to remove mine. !!!!!! I've heard heating the undersealer up helps

bolts along the top, bolts below at the rear by the door, bolts below at the front end, bolt behind the grille bolt behind the bumper on the side, then you can open it up, chew out the sealer and undo the 2 in there.. simple  :cool:

I normally heat the wax up with a hot air gun or just set fire to it then get the screwdriver on it untill i find the bolt, the nsf wing always seems to be the most stubborn as well
