GolfGTI stand looks awesome. Fanstastic cars everybody!
-
We did see a fantastic sight on Saturday on the 1/4 mile. Some young chap had his polo on the line, windows down and sounds up, looked really cool - not. Tyres in the back of the car - found a bargin!
Anyway, he saw the lights go green and put his foot down.......................................................................... and went backwards!!!!! Everyone laffed at him.. what a cock!
-
Forgot to take my camera... d'oh
Apologies if i seemed more of a miserable c*nt than usual, spent all night Friday sorting flood damage, show on Saturday, then back home to finish operation garage cleanup which finished at 7am.. back to the show Sunday at 11:30. Nice to see everyone, new and old. Going to go collapse now.

Not at all mate, Joe was the b!tch mate!
Are you able to claim on insurance?
-
only the stuff we have receipts for, no major losses, was just a ballache digging drainage trenches and bailing out water
-
friend of mine has had this, she used to live beneath a prostitute who regularly left taps on, 15 floods there, and in current flat, 2 so far, last one was an all summer in an hotel job
-
I have never had a prossie live under me.
-
Martz...neaty soooo stole your pen..
Thought the show was overpriced and got bored about two hrs in...but thats just my opinion
Came home, got spannered and was so drunk i fell asleep fully clothed at whatever time it was..
W12 was luverly...
Im actually quite tired and i only done one bit of the show!
Dinx

MrBlue where was your car hiding?
-
Pleasure to meet you too mate, the B&B was great and aparantly 200% better than the campsite as there was a rave till the early hours and someone in a vr6 hanbraking through the tents
Oh and i sat down and just breakfast at the B&B anyways!
-
yeah was a fun weekend, rain + dirty trainers = joe b!tching, sunshine and hotties = joe happy! what a difference a day makes! the w12 was insane, on the move it looked incredible...
the cruise home was fun too, and it all ended with my car being dropped off at the body shop for some tweaking to be done and getting that wing sorted. blue, an idiot in a minibus decided he wanted to be in my lane even though i was already there, his insurance coughed up though so all good. ;)
oh yeah and i am sooooooooooooooooooooo sunburnt!
-
sorry I missed it went last yr and didnt find you guys not even sure if there was a pitch? Anyways hopefully wont have a broken leg next yr and we will show up although no idea in what! never know though may have my bright blue project done by then (bl@@dy hope so! )
-
Brilliant day
The weather on Saturday didn't spoil my enjoyment at all. All the cars on the stand looked great and the W12 was superb (pity I didn't get to see it motoring )
Sunday looks like it was even better and pictures posted on the forum simply cannot replace actually being there
Buzzed down the 1/4 mile and ended up with this
(http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t8/hurdy_album/trophy.jpg)
Chuffed to say the least
And before anyone says anything......it was 0-60 and not 0-6mph
-
 great show, although too expensive to get it................saw some fab cars.Anyone know what happened to the guy who pranged his mk1 gti on the country lane on the way out the last village?? hope he's ok although car was killed
-
Had a great day on sunday just a shame about the mud. Seemed to have quite a hectic day flitting about the show and didn't really have time to relax and chat to people unfortunately. Managed to get a couple of runs in on the 1/4mile but that took 2 1/2hours out of the afternoon what with the massive queue to sign on then the massive queue to run. Both times me and my mate in his VR6 somehow managed to work the queue and end up running together. I managed a 16.795 and a 16.806 his were about 15.8's
Martin........Was that Andy's mk1 I saw dead on the M11 on the way home???
-
topher - if anything you seemed less miserable!
and di, the theft of martz's pen was not intentional!!
alex, your car is sweet and i love that noise it makes
-
Hey Neaty you can put Martz's pen with my cup from E38  start yourself a forum show booty collection!!!
-
ha ha, ah yea i forgot about that, you should of said and i would of brought it with me!
-

He should be nicknamed - The Magpie! lol
-
lol the Magpie, I like it.
No worries Neaty, not like I miss it, just a big of leg pulling.
-
Martin........Was that Andy's mk1 I saw dead on the M11 on the way home???
LOL yeah, he ran outta petrol!!
I thought it was a superb weekend and it was nice see a few familiar faces as well as meet a few more of you, i would have liked to spend more time over at the stand but cos we had a HIC stand and i was supposed to be working it kept me a bit busy.
The camping/campsite was certainly an experience, music pumping almost all night and some plonker doing handbrake turns upsetting the farmer (not a good idea when most cars where getting stuck and relying on him too tow them out), still got drunk and had a laugh though!
Back at work now, very tired and sunburnt, will post up my pics when i get a chance!
Martin
-
Sunday only for me. I thought the show was good value, since I got a cheap ticket form some geez on the entrance!
Had just put me trainers through the washing machine, but had to get them caked in mud to get chips.. bah.
show stand looked good, good to see Joe, Paul again.
Those westside boys had some nice cars in the show and shine.

Did mean to come over for a chat after I finished the sprint but got side tracked and before I knew it it was gone 5pm.
