Hello vag heads, i have now got to the point where i want to sell my gti valver and get either a golf g60 or a corrado g60.
At a glance which is most reliable, easyer to repair, getting parts, less problems ect ect...(iv never owned a corrado or know anyone who has!) The Golf or Corrado?
This is my car that i want to get rid of for one of these.

basically the same.. major difference being that a Golf G60 will be left hand drive, unless it's a conversion.
-
I would say that the raddo is more expensive to repair than the golf too. My advice is, if you want a G60 get a Golf, if you want a raddo get a VR6.

why a vr6? quicker than g60, more eco, engine more reliable???
thanks

think gibby had too much vodka in his coffee this morning..

golf is lighter and bodywork sooo much cheaper to fix if there are any probs. have you ever seen how much a corrado headlight costs?

It's my opinion really, but I think the corrado is better in VR6 guise but it's not more economical than a G60 and there are the chains to think about on a VR6, but a G60 has the G-Lader to worry about.

I wish. I think what I said makes sense, maybe.

it all depends on if you want a left hooker or not. golfs, as tom says, are alot cheaper on panels and the rest of the parts but engines are the same. corrado's weigh alot more than golfs and i've never been impressed with any of the g60 corrado's i've driven, tuned or standard.
i'm with gibby, if it was my money i'd be after a vr6 corrado then spend another £2k putting a charger on that!

Golf, all day long. Don't get one with aircon though (rare anyway).
LHD no problem, soon get used to it.

The golf you have now is
Id stick with that and mod the engine?
