Title: New remap for ED30
Post by: Hurdy on 14 June 2007, 14:45: When I visited the Ultimate Dubs show. The Derv Doctor tuning Company were there and said that they were introducing a reversible remap for the ED30 in conjunction with a Scandinavian company called BSR. I have just received an e-mail from the Derv Doctor to the following:-

BSR have just launched the PPC unit for the Golf GTI edition 30 model, this gives 308 bhp and 395 Nm of torque. The unit retails at Ã‚£525 plus VAT

I live in Sweden and many here have had problems with BSR remaps on their GTI TFSI 200hp,so i dont now if its better to GTI Ed30 :sad:

Post by: illyun on 14 June 2007, 19:07: I just don't get it - why don't you guys just stick with what you know i.e. Revo (who I prefer), Otteinger, MTM etc... and maybe Superchips but after what Teutonic has said, I'd err on the side of caution, although saying that if I ever wanted to remap my Edition 30 I'd use Revo. Don't mess about and take risks with a Ã‚£23k+ motor.

hmmm acutally, I don't think so.... :embarassed: but I will wait until after the warranty expires :grin: :grin: :grin: but then again, I will get tempted... :evil: :evil:
