Title: Budget coilovers??? Spring/shock kit???
Post by: HuwMk2 on 12 June 2007, 23:09: Hi. Does anyone on here supply budget coilovers or know of someone who sells coilovers for mk2 golfs? There are sets available on ebay for Ã‚£189, has anyone tried these? My mate mentoined somone on club polo who sells them for Ã‚£200 and they are Jamex badged up as another brand. What do you recommend on a budget??? Huw

Which spring/shock kit would be best? Weitec at Ã‚£250? Koni adjustables? Let me know what is best.

Post by: tom26 on 13 June 2007, 09:07: i have some supersport coilovers which cost 350 bucks inc VAT, they are ok but i wish i'd have saved a bit more cash and bought the FK's. Mine are quite a harsh ride so would be more suited to track days etc.
