Hi guys. Just picked up another mk2 on Sunday, 8v 91 in bright blue. Been driving it all week and drove it home from London to North Wales. When taking corners the car has developed a judder and major play/wobble in the steering wheel. Any ideas? Repair cost? Cheers.

I'd check the tires for excess wear, bulges chuncks missing or you may have thrown a counter weight?

Sounds like your trackings out

could be anything. check the ARB for damaged/worn bushes, damaged/worn drop links, worn steering column bushes, anything steering/handling related. also inspect the front subframe. when i bought mine 9 months ago the subframe was hanging off, wondered why it was wobbling around corners....

Problem solved. Front n/s wheel only had two out of four bolts in. I pulled the centre cap off this morning while inspecting and two nuts fell out. Not happy with the guy who sold me the car!!!
