Always declare everything. It is rather silly if you don't.

I always tell my insurers everything....not much choice they would see it in the car park anyway if i didnt, they even know i have the day off tomorrow to get my car lowered!  :laugh:

always declare everything, its not worth the hassle if they find out and often it does not cost as much as you would expect!  :smiley:

I once stupidly didn't. Got pulled over by the Police. They asked me "have you declared everything with your insurance company?" "Yes sir i have"

They got on their radio and managed to check with my insurance company to reveal no i hadn't! Luckily i only got an on the spot warning, which i was grateful for because it could've been a lot worse!

Round my way police went through a phase of going to cruises (they happen un-officially weekly at Southend Seafront), taking photo's of the cars and then sending them to the relevant insurance companies to see if the mods were covered.

Kinda pissed me off as they could pretty much only check ascetic mods this way and very few performance related mods, but still another good reason to make sure you're covered - the police have solved all the rapes, murders, burglaries, car thefts etc, so now they're getting bored and doing things like this.

Its ALWAYS best to be truthful when it comes to insurance companies. I'd rather pay a little bit extra each month than find out when its to late that actually your not covered.
