Title: sagging rear end (and I dont mean the missus!)
Post by: new2golfs on 11 June 2007, 18:35

hey everyone, Im new to this site and new to the whole golf thing.
I bought a 1990 1300cc 5 door a few weeks ago. its a solid enough car
but its sitting a bit lower at the back.
Ive had advancepitstop check the shocks and the back tested fine but the front
are showing to be a bit weak.
the car isnt worth much and I wouldnt be bother spending a penny on it if
i cant get her to sit proud.
Any suggestions as to what I can do?
great stuff on here... thanks ;)

Caravan towing helpers. They are like rubber bungs that fit in the rear spring to make it sit higher when towing, might just level it out on the cheap :)

fk automotive also do something similar, golfs have a tendency to sit lower at the ack for some reason.
