Title: Fixing on Door seals

Hi there, can anyone help me, i have bought all new Rubbers all ound for my Mk1 Golf GTI, and was woundering if anyone knew of a good product to fix the door seals and rubbers on with, i tryed a clear type sealant but didnt stick very well, just wondered if anyone know of anything that they have used or know off, cheers everyone. help a fellow dubber!  just restored my mk1 gti 1600 and i just a bostick glue gun to attached the seals to the door
