hi peeps can any 1 tell me were the the best place to earth my amp in my mk1 golf, near the back seats cos my amp is on the back of the seat thanx ian

where the seatbelts join the chassis under the back seat, or the side seatbelt chassis joint by the back doors. you will need a big spanner or ratchet though ( 17mm normally ) and they are normally very tight.

make sure you clean the bolt up a bit too where the earth wire will connect and screw the bolt in then unscrew it a few times to clean out the thread of the hole the bolt goes in.
