People using BLuefin, I don't want to be a party-crasher, but think about this:
Ed.30 has the same intercooler as normal GTI.
S3, which has donated the engine to Ed.30, uses a bigger intercooler, and that with only 265hp!
And now with 300hp bluefin conversion your engine and turbo are running quite a bunch hotter.
Maybe, for your own good, you should give some thought to a new, bigger intercooler and maybe an exhaust system with large bore downpipe.
Just my 2 cents.

Also, here is what one guy with Oettinger 330bhp remap wrote in the German GTI Mark V forum (very very good German forum: www.golf5gti.com)
Free translation:
"...The Edition 30 with Oettinger remap, tested in journal "Guten Fahrt" is mine. Here come a few facts about this car:
1) The engine in Ed. 30 is same as in S3, but with smaller intercooler from the factory.
2) The engine has no similarity to the engine in 200hp GTI, it is significantly reworked, with new pistons and different compression ratio.
3) My Ed.30 had 250hp already in original state (dyno).
4) After remap, it outputs 340hp. WIth this output the car runs relentlessly into the RPM limiter. HPs have been somewhat reduced in favour of torque (478nm). With a long 6th gear 300km/h are possible, in principle. The cost of remap is in no relation to the result!
5) The car is very drivable. The suspension is first-class....
6) R32 is a crazy car. But if you meet me on Autobahn, save your gas. A meeting with an M3 (343hp) already ended in tears.
7) Top speed is only 15km/h higher, and then the needle is in the red zone, which in not good. It is not the top speed that makes this car fun.
8) A word of advice: the original intercooler is already on its limit of performance from the factory, the charge air is too hot, and the engine output has therefore been reduced accordingly. If you tune the car, you should think about bigger intercooler."

Will be interesting to see what the longterm results from those that have already done it.
More interesting to me is the fact that they seem to come out the factory with alot more than 230hp. Certainly backs up the feeling I have that it is quicker than my previous MK4 R32.
