Title: What Wheels Should My Mk2 Have?

E reg, (88/89) 5 door 8 valve GTi

Alloys or steel?

My old E-reg came on 14" steels, which were standard fit for the 8v.  If you want to keep it totally original those would be the ones to go for, but there is plenty of scope for VAG alloys such as the BBS etc.  I had 15" Sebrings on mine before it died (have pic if you want an example), now using 15" Steels on my newer 5 door (see sig!).

Choice is your, really!

on an e its possible its a 'one in ten million' edition, which would have had 14" 'le Casterlet' (sp?) wheels :)
