im looking to convert my front grill and light to the vento style. it all seems like it would fit but im just a bit worryed abbout the bonnet.can i keep the golf one, do i have to moddefy it or can i just buy a vento one??
i only ask this as most of the pics iv seen have a stright cut bonnet :grin:

you do not need the slam panel, you need the grill, bonnet and headlights

The slam panel is what your light's bolt to and they are different on the vento..... (I have a spare one from a vento and my golf lights don't fit..)

is it the black strip thats across the top from wing to wing? or the part where the grill clips in???

i reiterate myself, you do not need the slam pannel!

ace i saw that and thought hmmmm maybe worth a bid........but I currently have a vento in my possession (currently in the for sale section) that i will break if no buyer is found (its a mates car otherwise i would of broke her all ready!!! and body need vento parts :wink:)
