Title: Cluster Problem I Think.....

Hey Guys!
My Mk2 is finally on the road!! however there seems to be a problem with the instrument cluster,
the speedo shakes and the clock doesnt work intermittently and this morning the temp gauge stopped working........

i have an idea that it could be something to do with the connections to the cluster,

anyone got any ideas what it could be apart from that?

Yer could be the clocks connector, other than that my initial thoughts are:

1) Fuse not properly home
2) Valve cover to coil mounting bracket earth strap missing / broken
3) Clocks are past their best!

cheers mate! was going to have a look at her at lunch but the sunw as too nice so i'll be sure to check it out tonight before i go home.
also got a horrible knocking noise from the engine bay i need to look at too...... poss engine mount :(
after that she'll be great!
