Title: Digi 1 ECU on a 2E since when??

Hey all i just bought an ECU which was described as a 2E unit after jumping in with both feet and i read the description its a digi 1 .... now i thought all 2E were digi 2 is this wrong ?? also if i use it can i use it with the mk3 2E harness or will i need a different loom??
