Title: un lowering!!!
Post by: oldbanga on 11 February 2004, 17:47
I have a mk2 gti 8v,when i got it i fitted eibach springs and bilstein gas shocks.It runs on BBS 14" cross spokes,with 195 /60/14's.
The problem is that it feels like your gonna loose your teeth over every bump.
Handles brilliant round the corners, but ive had enough of the bumps ???
The vw tyre size is 185-rather than 195.Any one know if this would make a difference to the road?
Any tips on the shocks-i was thinking of going back to VW standard shocks...
 cheers..

I un-lowered mine using coilovers. Probably best in the long run to buy some coilovers anyway
