:o :o :o :o :o
Does that affect how much Pertrol you can get in your tank then?
-
I was just calculating the mpg with the fuel prices sorry for the confusion :)

No you can get the same amount of fuel.
Just means you are paying more for it

I was being Sarcastic.

Here is how I work how much it costs me (pence per mile) and average MPG.
I put ?38 worth of petrol @ 75.5p per litre
Therefore I get (38*100) / 75.5 = 50.33 litres
50.33 / 4.55 = 11.06 gallons
Next time I refuel I see how much milage I have done (say 410 miles)
Therefore 410 / 11.06 = 37.06 MPG
and (38*100) / 410 = 9.27 pence per mile

I work it out everytime i fill up..
I just check how many miles and litres ive used..
So:
410 (miles) / 50.33 (litres)
= 8.15 (Miles per litre) / 0.22 (litres in a gallon)
= 37.04mpg
Differnet way, same answer!
