Title: Respray Cost?

Hi

I have a oak green Gti and want to get it resprayed. How much (roughly) would you think it should cost. i ahve no idea!

that's a very expansive question..

what state is your car in. does it need any body repairs. have you checked under trim to see if it needs rust treatment or any other extra prep work. do you want bare metal/windows and interior out, or just a mask up/flat down/blow over.

id say you're looking at a bare bare minimum of £600 (if you know the right people) and upwards of 3 grand at the other end of the scale.

you really need to get to a couple of bodyshops and have a chat with them, to see what's needed and what's best for you.

Thanks, your right I really should have explained my self more. All I really want is a mask up and flash over! The body work it fine apart from 1 dint and a few scratches. There does not appear to be any rust.I will pay a trip to a few local bodyshops and see what they say :smiley:

If your just getting one pannel sprayed then it will clash with the rest of the pannels due to age.

£600 upwards for the whole car

Strip the car yourself to save money
