Hi everybody. I am from Greece, this is the first time to write in this forum. I have a serious , huge i'd say, problem. I own a 16V 91 gti. Every time i get stuck in traffic and the car remains idle for a long time (20-30- mins) something happens and the engine starts to hunt... it coughs badly almost turning off. When i hit the gas pedal and the rpm's go up it goes away for a while until it stays idle again. The CO mixture is ok, i have changed the rotor arm, cleaned the fuel jets and the engine's timing is ok. The isv is also ok. Thanx.... :(
