Where did you put the main unit?
Did you strip it out from the large "heatsink"?

Also if you look over on www.vwvortex.com i think there are one or two people who have removed the main unit and fitted the hard drive bit into their glove box

I assume you've spotted them on Ebay? think the dealers want something stupid like Ã‚£600!! :shocked:

Post by: derdle on 29 May 2007, 16:58: I bought mine off ebay just over a year ago (about Ã‚£ 180) and have it in my Audi...have just bought a second unit off ebay which I want to put in the Golf so I can just swap the DMS cartridge from car to car. I'll have a gander at the vwvortex link and see what can be done.

The stealership prices are stupid for these things.
