Hope you gave em a large portion!
Trouble is, they are now quite within their rights to claim large amounts of compensation from you-arseholes! >:(

I supposeyou could always look for the silver lining in that you own a motor that despite being so old, is still desirable enough to be targeted by thieves!

Hope you're better now mate, and the car didnt take to much of a beating either

Do what they do in south affrica and fit flame-throwers on the side, when they get to ya door they get toasted :-[

( or do what the yanks do and have a gun in ya glove box, not legal, but you should have a right to protect your property >:()

I'm so glad I'm having a Concept 600 fitted tomorrow. If anyone opens your door when the engine is running they have 60 seconds to enter a code on a toggle switch on the dash else the car cuts out with the alarm howling. they have no choice but abandon it.

Dizzy

Keep a close eye on how the alarm installer handes your car/dash.
The guy ended up breaking alot of small clips and blowing bulbs. ohh and scratched the hell out of my sisters car >:(
concept 600 for ?250 installed (i think) if you want the number?

This should be a lesson to all. Lock your doors when driving!

Hope this bad experience fades away quickly.
Wish you speedy recovery.

No one can't predict when and where such thugs will come at you. I hope that we've all learn some important lesson from this, in securing ourselves and our beloved cars at all times.

I've been quite lucky when it comes to being car-jacked.

I think that it has something to do with my cars anti-jacking protection........... ME!  ;D

My old fiesta had a Toad C2 fitted which automatically locked the doors as soon as the ignition was turned on.  Definately a feature to have these days.

hope your ok mate sounds messed up! :o

next time you see them run both of them two bast**ds over and hope at least one of them hits your grille and has the VW logo stuck on there head

I suppose we should be better than scum like that!!!! But it makes you think people will hit and hurt you to get their hands on your worldly possessons for what? Be insured whats more important your life or your beloved vw...

what goes around comes around
