Title: Modern vee dubs performance
Post by: martinb on 27 May 2007, 23:21
I gotta lift tonight (too much beer on my birthday) in a mates company mk5 gt dsl and was blown away at how quick it was (ok perhaps the beer didnt help with my perspective but apparentyl 170bhp!), cant help but think it shows how much cars have moved on that a somewhat sensible diesel family hatch (well boring looking inside and out imo) can now leave my so called "sports coupe" according to the brouchure for dead.

Still know which i would rather have but hmmm when it blows up...tdi conversion?

I actually really like Diesels so would love one of those GT TDI 170PS'. I think they look ok to be honest
