Hi all just joined up to the forum have just brought my first vw have a mk3 gti anniversary model infact we should be picking it up in the next 30 mins so will post some pics soon. :grin: we have come across from the other side (ford owners) we have been converted since going on holls to devon and would also like to buy a vw T4 (we only got back from holls yesterday) and would like to go on more holls to devon/cornwall and learn to surf maybe!!!!!!
Just so you all know im Tanya and my hubby is Jared we will both use the forum on the same name hence the name Tanjaz
We will hopefully be going to the gti show at Bruntingthorpe ....anyone from the midlands area going???

Its an 8 valve engine. good as they have a better low down revs feel.
im sure tan will get some pics up when she gets a minute too busy looking for goodies to go on it. :rolleyes:

ha ha guess theres big debate over which ones better heheheheh well i wouldnt know cus ive never even driven a vw yet not even mine not till thursday when i can tax it jared drove it home..er er er i mean we trailered it home !!!!!

You won't be disappointed.
I've had both 8 & 16v mk3's and both were really good cars.
The 16v was by far the quicker car though across the rev range.
