Title: 5-door Golf = 4-door Jetta interior...?

I have a '91 Jetta.

Will an interior from a 5-door Golf fit in? I know the seats will without a problem, but what about the door cards? Are they the same dimensions?

Wanting to replace the 'normal' seats with a GTi set from a 5-door Golf.

Anybody know for sure?

Yup, should go straight in!

rear seats can be a bit of a pain as the jetta ones have different catches due to that massive metal plate between the cabin and the boot.

So the door cards are exactly the same in each car...?

yep, doors are the same, the only bit different on a jetta is C pillar and beyond.
