Someone else's inability to park is going to cost me money. Don't you just had it when that happens, anyone else had someone balls your car up and just drive off?

I had some cant key my old car. It was my pride n joy at the time. This was done as I was working part time at asda. As a consequence I decided that I would no longer park my car in a regular car parking space if i could help it. I would go for the mother and child spaces which I could view from the checkouts as I worked. It didnt go down too well with a couple of pedantic customers tho and I eventually got a warning for it.
I dont like leaving my car in car parks cos ive seen 1st hand inconsiderate fookers just opening their car doors into the car next to it and not givin a sh!t.
-
Just booked it in to get it sorted. £200 later
-
You could understand if they left you there details but to just drive off takes the P*!s even more...
-
its ok some idiot managed to drive right down the side of my mondeo and drive off
its a good job i class it as my "office" and dont look after it as i should but
£280 later its fixed but still highly annoying
-
Indeed. I would still be sick if it was my fault, but its even worse know that it was nothing to do with me and someone else's fault.
sh!t happens though.

£200 for that tiny mark, thats seriously excessive mate! where abouts are you?
-
after seeing a old women as she was reversing out of a space her bumper went down the hole side of a car . she hit it that hard her car lifted . she then drove off, me beening such a nice person wrote her number plate down with a short note and left it under the wipper. hope the old women got locked up for life.
so now i park over 2 spaces

I always thought that It was going to be expensive, that's from Halfords (Croydon, S London). Its easy going there as its literally just down the road from me.
£125 from the dent, £75 for the scratch

£200 to sort that out mate is an absolute bargain! Ive just worked it out, and It should be nearer £300 with the vat, (I do estimates as part of my job) Got to say though, that silver is a sod to match, and they should be blending the paint into the rear door, to make it "right"

I have an almost identical mark on my car, which is the same model/colour as yours !
There is no dent on mine though and it was totally my fault. Any idea what kind of price for just the paint ?
I have never hit anything driving but I managed to do it a week after getting my car. Ironically it was because I was being over cautious with the new car. I was leaving the car park at work and there was one of those yellow grit bins on the left on the exit. However there was a car coming into the car park and I was convinced he hadn't seen me due a parked bus. I was trying to make sure he had plenty of room and I scuffed the car along the bloody bin :(

If its scratched up like mine then your going to want to get it removed rather than just painting over it.
-
yeah sorry I was meaning rough cost of proper repair but without any dent.
It's in the garage every other week anyway so I ill mention it next time i'm there.
-
As mentioned in a previous post Halfords wanted £75 to remove to scratch.
Hope this helps.

That's guttin mate - problem is they're all sleazy bastards who either drive rep-mobiles, or pikeys who drive shitheaps - ie they don't give a fuck. You can't have anything nice these days
For this reason if I have to go to the supermarket I will do it very late at night and will only park as far away as possible. Even then I will try to be in and out in 10 minutes. Sad I know but it's the lengths I have to goto to keep my car mint.

Took it to Halfords this morning and the "specialist" said he couldn't guarantee the work on it. Sod that. Got my money back and took it to a specialist body shop place in town, with a bit of haggling I managed to get him down to £175 cash for it. It's just a pain as its not half as local as the Halfords was.
