Title: Clipper/Rivage Buying Tips

I've currently got a Mk3 GTi 8v, but have been considering for some time about buying either a Clipper or a Rivage(If i can find any). This would be my weekend car and would therefore still keep my mk3.

I'm just after some tips/advice what to look out for hood and things. Am I right in thinking that they're both 1800 with carbs.

The Rivage has the 1800i - being a GTI where as the clipper is a carb!
