Title: Im new here
Post by: Upturn666 on 25 May 2007, 12:18
Hi everyone. This is the first time i have posted here. I ordered a new Ed30 Gti in March and have picked it up this mornining. Now i know this might upset one person in particular but it is silver and looks great.
I have been a lover of Golfs for many years but i came over all sensible 3 years ago and bought a MK5 Diesel. A great car and 110K miles later i am back to my 6th GTI.
I have been reading the posts on here ever since i ordered my car and it has been both interesting and informative, especially the BlueFin discussions. Food for thought once my car is run in.
So dont be supprised if you see a few post from Upturn666. The name comes from my love of Ducati motorcycles. i used to have a 999 but managed to get it the wrong way up a couple of years ago, hence 666.

 were you still on 999 when it turned into 666?

Welcome 666,

I cannot fault your choice of car one little bit - even the colour is spot on :smug:

Did you choose anything off the juicy options list?

Thanks for the warm welcome.
Peskarik, yes unfortunatly i was on the 999 when it turned into 666. No major damage to me but the bike looked decidedly sick.
Hurdy, sorry to copy you on the colour because i know you are trying to keep it exclusive but in my opinion it is the best one to have. Extras wise just the usual, Xenons, Ipod, 5 door, winter pack.

How do you attach a photo?

You need to find somewhere to host your photo's for you, like  http://photobucket.com/login

Then upload them to that host, the copy and paste the image link from them to your post.

I use photobucket.com

Simply open a free account and then when you are logged on you can browse your PC's photo's via the site and download them into it. Once they are on the site all you have to do is click on the IMG file (it automatically copies it for you when you click on it) and then paste where you want it to be shown....simple :nerd:

edit....Creepy got there b4 me

Welcome!  Nice choice of car...
I just had a call from the dealer saying my Ed30 will be here in 2 weeks - Can't wait!
Just remember to run it in... if you can resist the temptation

Welcome to the forum, and stick around.

Hmmm, BlueFin - I'm sure every one knows my opinion on Super$h!ts products!

Let's just say there are considerably better broducts out there, from reputable tuning companies who only dedicate themselves to VAG products, and don't have to divide their time with developing a revised map for a Kia Pride or a Lada Riva!

You mean Lada Niva - Лада Нива.
I don't think they develop chips for niva. They have a pull-down thingy with all the manufacturers, but if you go to Lada - they have nothing there.
