Title: 17" OZ Supertourismo GTs on a mk2?

Iv currently got pirelli P slots but Id liek somethign a bit bigger are 17s too big?

Good question! Technically no, they will fit and even with a 40mm drop only give light rubbing. Depends of course on the width and offset but a 7.5 with around ET35 should be fine.

Cosmetically? Well that's a question of what you like. The P slots are an 'authentic' wheel for the old school look but if they are looking too small consider dropping the suspension instead of upping the wheel size.

Comfort wise and tyre price 17's are a bit of an ass.

I've just lived through this dilemma.

in my opinion, 17s with lowered ride height (on a 16v) was too harsh.

Gone to 15s and it's much better.

I'd agree with takethefifth and go a nice set of 15s and lower the car to suit, 17" tyres are so much dearer.
