I was so nearly at this show!! Battlesbridge is only about a 1/2 drive for me - but I started cleaning my car in the morning and kinda got carried away! I think the neightbours thought I was mad when I started polishing the exhuast! Anyway - looks like a cool show, definatly try to be at the next one - they have loads of car shows there through the summer - but I'm guessing this was the only VW one?

Looks like a pretty cool little show Martin, well worth considering next year.
Are they porsche rims on the T25??? Reckon my van could definately do with some larger rimmage but firstly I gotta sort out the ride height, -60mm hopefully coming next year!!!
I had a passat the same model as that two tone estate. Mine was the hatchback GT model with bodykit etc as standard, probably rare as by now. Wish I had it back :( probably been scrapped by now

yes mate but dunno if they were real or replicas! i thought they looked cool though! I loved the single cab pick up t25 too, getting more tempted by these, there is one (a double cab t25 pick up) that has been parked in a yard near where my parents live for well over a year now i have been keeping an eye on and am so tempted to leave a note on the windscreen. Looks in pretty good nick bar a years worth of mould/dirt and even has a set of Azev A's on!

Wicked mate, Emma just ordered a set of 60mm springs for my Rado yesterday as an early birthday present for me(along with my pressed plates!)

lol yeah the benefit of hindsight! a few years ago i would not have been seen dead driving something like that, now i see them as cool potential projects!

Its the only VW one i know of there although its a pretty cool venue. Where are you from then? it was only just over 1/2 hour for me too.
The watercooled cars where hugely outnumbered (not that i mind that much as i love aircooled but woulda been nice to see a few more) but was still a cracking little show.

I'm in Leigh-on-Sea, really close to progress road on the 127 if you know the area?
I like the shows at battles bridge - they're always so ramshackle! Ha ha and it's always nice people there, no egos and stuff - from what I've seen anyway. Something seems to be going on there pretty much every weekend.
