Title: cutting carbon fibre

anyone know the best way to cut carbon fibre sheet is? i need to make some circles :laugh:

masking tape across the cut line on both sides (to minimise splinters) and a jigsaw with either a special carbon blade (£Â£) or a normal metal cutting blade should do.

be damn careful not to get a splinter! as you may know already the body won't recognise it as a foriegn object and it could get very nasty.

yeah ive had a few fibreglass splinters and they arent nice, up the fingernail  :sick: i shall be extra careful  :nerd:

masking tape and dremal with normal cut off disc.

If big sheet needs cutting, grinder with diamond disc.

wear a mask.
