anyone know the best way to cut carbon fibre sheet is? i need to make some circles
cheers
-
masking tape across the cut line on both sides (to minimise splinters) and a jigsaw with either a special carbon blade (£Â£) or a normal metal cutting blade should do.
-
be damn careful not to get a splinter! as you may know already the body won't recognise it as a foriegn object and it could get very nasty.
-
yeah ive had a few fibreglass splinters and they arent nice, up the fingernail  i shall be extra careful :nerd:
-
masking tape and dremal with normal cut off disc.
If big sheet needs cutting, grinder with diamond disc.
wear a mask.
