im still having a nightmare with my electric windows on my mk3 8v golf gti and was hoping someone , somewhere outhere could help ???
story so far, windows come down on their own sometimes all of them together and sometimes just the odd one or 2 !
i have diconnected the full closure side of the toad alarm just to eliminate this.
also disconnected the wiring plug on both the drivers door lock and pass lock as it has the comfort closure system on it !
also disconnected the window switches in the doors
and they still bloody do it !! sometimes they come down after a couple of days and sometimes ill get a week out of it !! YIPPEEEEEE
any ideas anyone as its driving me mad !
oh yeah the auto electricians ive phoned say i could have an electrical prob somewhere !!!
guess he will never be a rocket scientist !! lol
any ideas anyone ??

When you operate the switch do they go up and down or do you just hear the motor running and no movement?
