Ok so this morning beryl went for a set up and these are the results.

Being the silly girl that i am, im not sure what it means, and after unsuccessfulyl trying a search can anyone help me with the following:
103bhp - is that at the fly or wheels? (and whats the difference between fly and wheels)
how much should it have had? - i think it's 110 but cant be certain!
can anyone determine what the graph means?
-
its more likely to be 103 at the fly. this means the power of the engine is 103bhp but you'll lose some of that through transmission etc to give you the power at the wheels. i'm not too hot on all this but i'd assume you've probably got 80-ish bhp at the wheels.
it also means your peak power is between 5000 and 5500 so if you're booting it off the lights don't bother going over 5500 as you wont get any more power! :P
-
so is it not that good then? cos i dont understand! and this car is made for pootling!!!
-
power seems fine for a std engine, would be more interested seeing the afr graph though given your recent fuelling issues.
-
Power curve looks fine, the torque curve is a little unusual with the peak between 1500 and 2500 rpm.
-
so the top curve is torque? - ewhat is torque?
so what do they mean then??
103bhp at the fly wheel is that good or bad?
-
gosh han dont you read
Power curve looks fine

power is calculated from torque, which put simply.. is how hard it pulls in each gear.
-
i did, it just made no sense!
so it pulls best at lower rev's?
-
not really, only turbo cars have that characteristic usually.
aside from the strange jump early on (ill put that down to rr error) you have a nice flat torque curve which means you have easy access to your power all through the rev range.
